Boilermakers Local 154 just can't get it right when it comes to billing residents of newly acquired property: Alpark Terrace, Pittsburgh's Oldest Mobile Home community.
Boilermakers are asking residents to write checks for lot rentals and utilities to the Boilermakers Building Fund....They are diverting money that they are obligated to use to maintain Alpark Terrace.
This money should used to install water meters on homes that are currently not being charged for water. They are not complying with ruling on water billing from previous owner, that originated in the PA Attorney Generals Office.
Money paid by residents is income for Boilermakers 154 and taxable under IRS code.
Escrow account will be established until Local 154 explains inaccuracy's in billing...
And, if not explained additional charges will be filed with PA State Attorney General Tom Corbett...
